AIR EUROPA EXPANDS ITS DESTINATIONS IN BRAZIL

Thanks to a new codeshare agreement with Azul, its customers will be able to connect from Sao Paulo and Salvador de Bahia to nine other Brazilian cities.

Air Europa announced a new codeshare agreement with Brazilian airline Azul to expand its presence in Brazil, allowing its customers to connect from São Paulo and Salvador de Bahia international airports to nine other cities in the country.

The Spanish airline currently operates a daily flight to São Paulo from Madrid, and this month will resume its connection to Salvador de Bahia. Under the new agreement, it will now deploy its code on flights operated by Azul from São Paulo-Guarulhos International Airport to the cities of Cuiabá, Confins, Curitiba, Porto Alegre, Recife and Santos Dumont, as well as those departing from Salvador de Bahia International Airport to Porto Seguro, Congonhas, Confins, Recife and Caminas. For its part, Azul will put its code on flights operated by Air Europa between Madrid and Lisbon.

In addition to being able to travel to all these destinations with a single ticket and a single check-in process, passengers will benefit from connections with minimal waiting time and the option of earning miles in the respective loyalty programs of both airlines.
